This semester, Allie is working closely with the McDougall team to provide public relations services to a local non-profit, while learning as much as she can along the way. Allie is currently a senior at St. John Fisher College, where she has a double major in Media & Communications, and Digital Cultures & Technologies.
Always seeking to get more involved on campus, Allie is the President of St. John Fisher’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter (PRSSA) where she provides opportunities for students to expand their network by planning and facilitating bi-weekly meetings and events throughout the year. She is also the Creative Director for The PRIMA Group, a student run public relations and advertising firm, where she uses her self-taught skills to produce creative content for clients in the Rochester area. With a few internships and a semester abroad in Galway, Ireland under her belt, gaining real world experience before graduation has been an important part of her undergraduate experience.
Allie also spends time working remotely as the web and social media manager for a classical and jazz music festival based in her hometown in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, creating videos, and spending time with her family.
