Julie Napieralski’s career is entrenched in the business of relationships. With nearly two decades of consulting experience, she focuses on reputation management and strategic planning to help organizations achieve their communication and business goals.
Julie has extensive experience in team leadership and mentorship, traditional and social media practices in public relations, crisis communication, marketing communications, content generation, and trade show and event planning. She has served clients in several business-to-business and consumer driven industries, including health care, vision care, consumer technology, telecommunications, and finance.
Julie spent nearly 10 years at Martino Flynn, LLC, an integrated marketing communications firm based in Rochester, NY. She served as account director, managing a team of award-winning public relations professionals. In 2013, Julie joined the academic world, serving as assistant professor for Kent State University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Today, in addition to her consulting career, she is a lecturer in the School of Communication at Rochester Institute of Technology. Julie is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She served a six-year term as a member of the board of directors for the Rochester Chapter of PRSA. Julie earned her master’s degree in communications management from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She lives in Fairport, NY, with her husband and three children.
