McDougall Communications at 2020 Pinnacle Awards
ROCHESTER, N.Y., September 22, 2020—The American Marketing Association has honored two McDougall Communications programs as part of the organization's 2020 Pinnacle Awards.
The new AMA Resiliency Award is for "extraordinary efforts taken by marketing professionals as they rose to meet the many challenges presented by COVID-19." The firm was recognized for its work with the Centre for Ocular Research & Education (CORE) to rapidly inform eye care professionals worldwide about myths and misconceptions related to contact lens wear and COVID-19 transmission.
Also originating in the eye care category, McDougall took home the trade show marketing award for its Make Your Mark strategy and exhibit, which drove record levels of visitor engagement and member recruitment for the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) at conferences in the United Kingdom, the United States and the Philippines.
In addition, McDougall's work with CooperVision to announce FDA approval for its MiSight 1 day contact lens to slow the progression of myopia in children was named a finalist in the B2B integrated marketing and product launch categories. The work secured unprecedented optometry, ophthalmology and medical device industry attention--the most garnered for a new contact lens in more than a decade.
McDougall Communications (mcdougallpr.com), founded in 2011, is focused on helping clients across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific meet their business objectives through a range of communications services, including strategic planning, media and influencer relations, reputation and crisis counsel, and social media management.
