Carson Daniels
Senior Counselor

Carson is a communications professional with more than 15 years of experience spanning broadcast journalism and public relations. Born and raised in Syracuse, N.Y., she moved to Rochester after earning a bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2012.

Before joining McDougall Communications, Carson built her career at News10NBC (WHEC-TV), where she served as executive producer from 2017 to 2023. In that role, she led content strategy and execution for some of the region’s top-rated newscasts, earning recognition for in-depth, investigative coverage—including an Emmy Award.

Since joining McDougall Communications, Carson has brought the same storytelling instinct and editorial discipline to her work across a range of industries. As a senior counselor, she supports global and national clients in medtech, optometry, ophthalmology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare with strategic communications counsel and execution, while also counseling regional clients in higher education, finance, and more.

Carson lives in Rochester with her partner, Brian.
