McDougall Communications Honored with Four AMA Rochester Pinnacle Awards

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 27, 2022—Recognizing extraordinary results across four different marketing campaigns, McDougall Communications and its clients were presented with four honors at the 2022 American Marketing Association (AMA) Rochester Pinnacle Awards. The program recognizes corporations, non-profits, and agencies for their creativity, strategy, and outcomes related to 2021 initiatives.
 
Included was the 2022 Not-for-Profit Resiliency Award, an accolade the recognizes a campaign that rose to the unique challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. This was received for “Helping America See Tomorrow” with the Contact Lens Institute (Washington, D.C.), which helped eye care professionals adapt to how people’s attitudes and behaviors changed during the pandemic.

Other awards received include:

  • Product Launch: Game On, Presbyopia: CooperVision Introduces MyDay Multifocal with CooperVision, San Ramon, Calif. and creative partner Truth Collective, Rochester, N.Y. The program was instrumental in gaining rapid acceptance and adoption of a new disruptive contact lens among U.S. optometrists.

  • Small Business Campaign: Alerting the World to MADE: Mask Associated Dry Eye with Centre for Ocular Research & Education (CORE), Waterloo, Ontario, which drove awareness and action on an unanticipated side-effect of mask wear spurred by the global pandemic.

  • Special Event: WCO Virtual Event on Myopia Management with World Council of Optometry (WCO), St. Louis, Mo., which drew more than 3,600 registrants from 110 countries to learn about one of the greatest threats to children’s eye health.
