McDougall-Developed Programs Win Top PRSA and AMA Honors

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 20, 2025–Multiple programs developed by McDougall Communications have been awarded top honors from two professional associations this month.

For the second straight year, the agency won both the Corporate and Non-Profit Best of Show Awards in the Rochester Public Relations Society of America PRism competition. This marks the eighth consecutive year that the firm has earned the Best of Show in either category.

Its work with CooperVision to bring attention to digital eye strain across the U.S. was recognized as the corporate frontrunner, while a global educational campaign surrounding myopia with the World Council of Optometry received the non-profit nod.

Days later, the American Marketing Association (Rochester) Pinnacle Awards named a separate CooperVision endeavor to elevate its children’s eye health leadership as the year’s top public relations initiative.

“At a time when people are bombarded by information streams and don’t know who or what to trust, we keep creating new ways to calm the chaos and grow our clients’ reputations. It’s always rewarding to see this creativity recognized, but even more important to remember the people behind the work—incredible agency-client teams who love what they do,” said Mike McDougall, FAAO, APR, Fellow PRSA, president, McDougall Communications.

Additional PRSA PRism Awards were earned for:
